Philip Brewer's Writing Progress

Yesterday was a dead loss. A power failure took my home server down through the early evening. After the power came back on the networking wasn't working, and I wasted a bunch of time trying to figure out what the problem was.

This evening I'm working on my story, but I'm distracted because I'm trying to watch "Joseph Campbell and the Hero's Journey" on PBS at the same time. I've been writing in dribs and drabs lately, but I'm liking what I'm producing, so I'm happy enough.

One of my Clarion classmates has a story up at Planet Magazine. As far as I know, "Sergeant Stone: Hard to Forget" by Hathno Paige is the first of the stories critiqued by the group that has been published in electronic form so that I can put up a link. Several classmates have works in Issue 9 of Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, including the Clarion story "A is for Apple" by Amy Beth Forbes.
