I've done almost no writing this week. Jackie and I watched a couple of movies, went out to eat a couple of times, and watched some TV. Today we went to the library and the bookstore.
We were also kind of productive today: we did some tidying.
I'm not really a tidy person. I like tidiness, I'm just not very good at keeping things tidy. Anyhow, the clutter in the study gradually accumulated (mostly, but not entirely, detritus from my own activities). I kept it behind me, where I didn't need to look at it while I was working, but it began to prey on my mind. Last week I decided that I needed to get it tidied up. So, today I spent some time on that. At the moment, half done, it is (of course) much worse than it was.
The evil post-equinox snow is mostly melted now, all but the big piles. It didn't get warm today, but the weather is approaching springlike, finally.
