Insufficient writing of late.

I did some minor touch-up work on a story over the weekend, then posted it for the local critique group. This is practically the first time I've sought more critiques on a story that has already been critiqued, and the only time I've done so after making only minor changes. But the earlier critiques I got on this story were all of the "You could do so much more with this story!" variety, and I'm still hoping for some more detailed critiques that deal with the story just as it is.

Not that I disagree with the comment--it's an idea rich with possibilities, and my story only touches on one.

Today I spent a little time working on the insurance story rewrite. It's nearly done. I think if I can spend one whole evening on it, I can wrap it up. I'm very pleased with how it's coming together.
