Writing! For the first time in a long time I did some serious writing this evening.
I'd gotten discouraged about most of the stuff I had in the works, and had decided to start something new. But on the way home one of my pending rewrites suddenly started seeming compelling, so I worked on that. I got about 600 words. It's going more quickly than if it were new, but not much--I've got a new viewpoint character.
Today was a rest day, which is good because I've got a mild case of shin-splints. That's not unusual for me when I first start running after a long break, although I'm surprised the almost negligible amount of running I've done so far this year would manage to cause them. It's not a big deal, though. I'll rest them, they'll get better.
Warm weather is promised. I'm sure ready for it.
One a completely different matter, I just want to say that I think a Karina, dressed all in black, wearing a beret would be something to see. Not that I'm encouraging moping, you understand.
