A good writing day. I got 1800 words on the rewrite. That's more than half. I still need one scene with a bit of exposition and background, the breakup scene, our hero's decision, what he does (that's longish, but I know just how it goes), and then the end. The end I've got a draft of in the previous version and I can keep that text almost exactly as it is--just change from first person to third person.

We lifted this morning. It was a good workout, better than either of the last two.

This evening Jackie made soup from the chicken she roasted yesterday, and then we watched two episodes of season-2 Angel.

It's been a great weekend. Tomorrow back to work.
