My plan for the weekend is to get all the minor tasks taken care of so I can focus on writing next week and the week after.
Today was a day for odds and ends. I installed MacOS 10.3 on my laptop (I'd already installed it on my desktop machine). Jackie and I went to the Farmer's Market, the office supply store and the bookstore. (I got leeks and potatoes, printer paper and the new Bujold book.) After lunch, we went to the Verde Gallery where there was a textile exhibit that Jackie contributed to and helped hang, but which I hadn't been able to see before my Frankfurt trip. After looking at the art, we hung out for a bit in the coffee shop, which now has wireless networking.
A Clarion classmate was looking for critiquers for something new he's working on, so I said I'd do that. I've read a good chunk of it and expect to be able to finish it tomorrow. The only other things left on my to do list for tomorrow are tidying up the study and getting some mss back out to markets.
I was going to run today. I was putting it off, waiting for it to warm up just a bit, but instead it started to rain. It's supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow, so that's the new plan. Despite not running today, I did a total of 12 miles last week, which is just about exactly what I want to be doing.
