Very long hours at the day job. The task not so huge as to be daunting, nor incredibly difficult. The individual pieces are actually pretty easy. However, there's huge time pressure, and I'm working on a new system, so I'm having to learn how things fit together.
I usually try to avoid this sort of thing. I don't work well under pressure. I can't function if I don't get enough sleep and become depressed if I don't get enough exercise, so there's not much I can cut out to make more time for work.
Still, I'm not unhappy. I need to do something during the remaining weeks of winter, and I figure it might as well be this.
I thought about taking a break from journaling, since I don't expect to do much writing, but I find that I'm as moved to keep my journal as ever.
Got email from Tobias Buckell that I was in the July workshop, so that's cool.
Ran on the treadmill and lifted yesterday before work. Just worked today.
