I'm alive. Just very busy at work. And a little under the weather--I have a cold.
With the busy-ness, I haven't had much time for reading, but did finish Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norrell. A fun story.
William Gibson's blog pointed me to this series of essays on war by William S. Lind. Absolutely fascinating stuff about war with non-state enemies. Lind so clearly understands what Bush and the people in his administration do not.
Haven't done any writing in weeks. Things should settle down after next week. I'll get back to it then.
Oh, and I should mention that I've started posting an odd thing now and then on my LiveJournal. I created it mainly for commenting on other people's live journals, but it's so handy for a quick post now and then. I now understand the attraction it seems to hold for other people.
