To celebrate the equinox (actually because our dog is spending the day at Canine Academy) we’ve come to Seven Saints for lunch. I’ve got a Voodoo Ranger, while Jackie is drinking a Starcut Squishy cider.

I have a Triptych described as a hazy Midwest IPA. Jackie has a BrewDog Elvis Juice.
Is there a #beersofmastodon hashtag?
Irish and international at 7 Saints. The feature is this Redbreast finished in Kentucky Oak. Sweet. Smooth. Delicious.
Now we’re eating supper and drinking beer. I have a Triptych Been a King, and @jackieLbrewer has a Half Acre Burl.
Just our second Whiskey Wednesday since the start of the pandemic. I have the Whistlepig Farmstock Bourbon bottled in bond. Very nice. Sweet. Fruit—maybe apples. @jackieLbrewer has the equivalent rye.
Our first lunch at @sevensaints since before Omicron. I’m drinking Triptych Brewing’s Fly You Fools, and after tasting it, @jackieLbrewer decided to have one as well.
Happy birthday @jackieLbrewer! I have the Riggs session IPL, which sadly is not at all to my taste. Jackie has the Glenkinchie 12 year, which is quite good.
I’ve got the 3 Floyds Zombie Dust pale ale, while @jackieLbrewer is drinking the Surly Rocket Surgery hazy ale (extreme clarity notwithstanding). @sevensaints after our OLLI class.
I have the Triptych Batch 600 double IPA, @jackieLbrewer has Journeyman Bilberry Blackhearts martini, very dry, and Rosie has a Grey Goose martini, dry, a little dirty, with three olives. @sevensaints
And now we’re both drinking the @triptychbrewing Simcoe double IPA.
At @SevenSaints with @jackieLbrewer drinking today’s feature: St. George single malt. Very nice whiskey, even if it’s not especially scotch-like, considering it’s made from malted barley.
