I got some lunchtime writing in again. The word count is at 1630 now, which I guess is just 20 new words, but I worked my way through all the text from the previous version and integrated it into the story. It works much better this way. I'm guessing there's about 1000 more words, so this will be a fairly short story.

Heard that my mom did make it safely home.
