Some good writing today. My new gene engineering story is at 660 words.
The end is in sight for the rain. After "scattered showers" through the weekend, it's supposed to be dry for about a week. Of course, it will take that long just to get the ground fairly dry.
Jackie and I lifted weights this morning. We've been doing pretty well for three weeks now.
Things are going pretty well at the day job. I'm getting my urgent tasks done. Tomorrow is a training class, so that'll be a bit of a break from everyday activities.
As long as I had to order a new Airport from Apple, I went ahead and ordered MacOS X as well. It arrived today. I'm hoping the Airport will arrive tomorrow, so I can spend the weekend upgrading.
I'm reading Years of Rice and Salt and enjoying it a lot.
