I've been thinking about my story idea. I'm not quite sure where to go with it. I have pieces, but not an actual story. I'll continue to ponder.

Clarion classmate Beth Adele Long has posted a brief excerpt from her novel-in-progress at the Kerouac Project web site.

Today and tomorrow is the Champaign-Urbana Spinners and Weavers Guild annual show and sale. Jackie is selling a large quantity of yarn, as well as a couple of knitted hats. I hope they sell well. (Jackie, I think, would be perfectly happy if a goodly amount of her yarn didn't sell, so she could keep it and make things with it herself. On the other hand, if it all sells, that's an excuse to buy more fiber to spin. Basically, she can't lose.)
