Twenty-five day rejection from Analog. Sigh. I'll print it and get it out in a day or two. I also have the rewrite almost ready to go. It needs about a half-hour's work, but I didn't get that done this evening.
I've been feeling a bit swamped lately. I slept late this morning and woke up still feeling tired. Then I rushed to work where I'm too busy and struggling with my current tasks. Then I had to leave early to run an errand. The end result was that I felt worn out in the evening and just wanted to watch TV.
The errand was picking up the little red car from the shop. It's all fixed up. I don't think I mentioned here that someone backed into it in the parking lot. Happily, they left a note and had insurance, so I didn't have to pay for a thing. State Farm paid for repairs and rented me a little beige car while mine was in the shop. Still, it's nice to have the little red car back.
I think before I go to bed I'll do a little research reading for the fantasy story I've been thinking of. Working title: the yurt story.
