I've been making notes for stories for several days. Today, I actually did some writing. It's going kind of slow, but I'm pleased with it so far. About 300 words.
It's been a great holiday. The first half of the week we did very well at getting our exercise. Today we should have lifted and didn't, but that's not so bad. It's been very relaxing, even though my boss called to ask if I could travel to France within a few days after my return. I've resisted a couple of business trips lately, just because I was very much in the middle of things, and didn't want the distraction. Now that I'm kind of between things, I've got a bit of enthusiasm for this one. As I say: despite that, I'm completely recovered from all those weeks of busyness. Of course, now it's nearly time to go back to work.
This month has been the sparsest journaling since I started. If I get back to writing regularly, it'll be more regular again. I observe, though, that most of the people whose journals I link to are also updating pretty sparsely. Maybe it's a seasonal thing. Or maybe this on-line journaling thing is just a phase for most people, and they eventually find it less rewarding.
